Letterman Skewers McCain over Campaign Suspension

McCain canceled his appearance on Letterman last night as a part of his campaign suspension to save the economy... leaving Letterman none too happy.

I was happy to hear Letterman ask a key question: Why can't Sarah Palin continue the campaign while McCain spends a week or so in Washington? If she is fit to be the President of the United States, surely she could handle being the 2nd string quarterback for a week of campaigning.. maybe even *gasp* give a couple interviews with real reporters.

What a joke.
