Making the iPhone perfect
Posted by ryan at 10:19 PM in . | 2 Comments
I've spent about the last 48 hours glued to my iPhone (I am posting from it now) and while I honestly think it is one of the most amazing devices I've used, there are a few things that would make it perfect(er).
1) Flash. This is a no brainer, Flash is too common to not include. I have to assume it will be on its way as it compiles for ARM.
2) Copy and paste. A mobile blogging must have.
3) iChat. No messaging?.. Come on.
4) GPS. The google maps application is so slick as is, it would be nothing short of amazing coupled with GPS.
5) SDK. The most important by far. I understand apple's security concerns with a mobile device running osx, but 3rd party apps would take the iPhone from being a fancy phone to being a full fledged mobile computing platform.
