Stephen Colbert Alters Reality

Tonight on the Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert challenged the integrity of Wikipedia in response to recent claims that Microsoft attempted to pay bloggers to edit and spin Wikipedia articles pertaining to Microsoft.

Colbert's challenge was that the reality presented by Wikipedia was based on popular vote rather than fact, and that this reality was now for sale. To prove his point he said that reality had become a commodity and if you didn't believe him, to check Wikipedia. Within seconds, Wikipedia was defaced.
