Line Rider

I was at a Christmas party this weekend when I saw about 10 kids crowded around a PC playing with Line Rider. From Wikipedia, "The basic concept is to draw one or more lines with the mouse on which a small character with a sled can ride. The game includes a physics simulation, which means the track must be sufficiently smooth to prevent the character from falling off the sled. The author has said that he prefers the description 'toy' to 'game' as there is no goal to accomplish."
People have made some seriously crazy line rider "tracks", a collection of them can be found on the website in the videos section.
There is also a forum to learn about tricks and tips people have discovered to make use of the physics engine.

Jump the Shark is better because both the guy and the sled end up in the shark's mouth independently. Posted by: ryan at December 11, 2006 5:22 PM |
