NBC's Today show compares Zune to 2 year old monochrome iPod

I am all for competition as it helps spawn better products in the marketplace. But shame on NBC for bowing to their Microsoft overlords and producing this fluff piece of news *cough*advertisement*cough* introducing the new Zune player. If you are going to produce this shit, at least do it on MSNBC and keep some semblance of journalistic integrity on NBC.

Twice in the piece the Today show uses a side by side comparison of the Zune with the iPod. However, they compare it to a 2 year old Monochrome iPod that has been long since discontinued. They then continue on to show the iPod mini, again a discontinued monochrome product from years ago.
