I chose internet over tv here, plus I would need satellite to get my favorite U.S. shows. So, when I relax after work I am always searching for tv shows/clips online. I find myself often on the comedy central website, where I have watched the daily show and colbert report, with increasing fervor over the last year or so.

So, I could not believe that they had invited him to be the keynote speaker at this event and asked myself if they understood that he was essentially making fun of conservative, right-wing republicans, or at least to the degree that he does.

There's always something about sarcastic humor that borderlines insulting.

After watching the results, I must say, he is one brave guy to stand only meters away from the president and say those things.

The "Get to know your district" skits from his show are also quite funny.

Man, is he talented. He talked shit while keeping a formal, respeful tone. I think in japanese that is category of humor(?).
