Although heavily dominated by New York City parks, this list also features the new Campus Martius park in Detroit at #4. Compare with last year's 20 best neighborhoods.

Rittenhouse Square (Philadelphia) is wonderful, but I do not agree that the surrounding neighborhood should be listed as one of the best in the country. It is far too expensive and does not have the same neighborhood feel that many other parts of Philadelphia have.
