london underground by travel time

A student at the London College of Communication set out to redesign the London Underground map. He did so by designing the map around the travel time between each stop, rather than the distance. He documented the project well and the end result is very impressive.

The current one was designed by some famous artist. The name fails me at the moment.

A map based on time would've been nice when I lived there...could've slept that 15min. longer;)

Yeah, I am really impressed with this. He had a great idea and really executed it well.

I especially enjoy seeing the transformation from the paper map to the digital version.
