Apple's Mighty Mouse

It's about time, finally a two button mouse for the Mac. I've been using a Microsoft mouse on our iMac for nearly 2 years now as right click features have always been built in to OSX.

The Apple mouse features a 360 degree scroll wheel and two mouse "buttons". I say "buttons" because it is a solid mouse that acts much like a touchpad on the top half of the body. It is also Windows 2000/XP compatible.

Something about this mouse reminds me of, uh, um, Georgia O'Keefe paintings.

I used this thing at the Apple store last night. It was pretty slick. When you click it, the body depresses just like all the Apple mice these days.

The scroll wheel was very nice. There is something about the tactile feedback it gave that I liked much more than a standard scroll wheel with its "notched" tactile feedback.

I couldn't figure out what squeezing the sides did.. I think it only does something on Tiger, but I have to imagine they had Tiger installed on the computers at the Apple store.
