Eh. It was over by then. Things really fell apart with like 4 minutes to go.

Detroit got into foul trouble way too early, having to bench Billups for most of the first half was killer. I think he only sunk 3 shots for the night.

Youre probably right, but Detroit could still contend up until the pass. Unfettered, Billups or Rip could have knocked a three at that point, putting the Pistons within two with at least 12 seconds in the fourth.
Since that pass was so contested though, they didn't have a chance. I'm not sure if that speaks to the marutity and experience of the Spurs or the inexperience of Detroit. Maybe, and most likely, it was just the moment itself. Everything for both teams hung in the balance and SA came through at the right time.
Either way it was a great series that has rekindelled my intrest in the NBA. Long live Big Ben Baby!!!! The bad boys of D-town live again!!!

Yeah, the playoffs this year in general were exciting. The NBA has made for a decent replacement to the NHL for me. ; )

Well at least we're hopefully on for this season.
