Israeli biomolecular computer can operate a billion different programs simultaneously

Anyone else catch this last month? Seems to have slipped by... maybe because the major application is for encrypting your porn.

Images could be encrypted on a chip containing the equivalent of 41 million pixels so that deciphering them would be impossible to those without access to a secret key comprised of several short DNA molecules and several enzymes. If this is the most promising application for such a machine then we should look for new applications. It seems like quite a bit of trouble to scramble an image.

Also, current consumer cameras are optic not pixel limited.
