mirroring disjointed users' blogs

I got an email from someone (a friend of disjointed) wondering if I could mirror the blog posts from their site on disjointed. Technologically the answer is yes with the help of our friend RSS. I think the general mentality was that they had their own blog, but would like to participate on disjointed without always having to post the same content twice.

My question to the rest of you out there in blogland is if you would be interested in this? I know quite a few of you have your own personal blogs.. would you like them mirrored here?

I would only entertain requests from those of you who I consider regular contributors (and commenters) to this site or those of you I know personally. I'm not just going to start picking up anyones blog feed, I mean you can always get a disjointed account and publish whatever you want.

It may be an interesting way to get some more diverse content here on disjointed and learn a bit more about the people who frequent this site. It would also allow for a centralized place for many more people to discuss topics you generally only cover in your own blogs.

Everything is already in place to make it work, I just thought I'd run it by you all first to see what you think. Also, you can start emailing me feeds to your blogs so I can add them if we decide to do this.

I'm leaning toward yes myself.

I post recipe and things that happen to me that don't make it into my comic to my livejournal:

If it's content is something that you want to read on disjointed, feel free to add it.
