Tom's Hardware has a guide to building your own XGA (1024x768) projector on the cheap (~$250) using a flat-panel lcd display and an old school overhead projector. It looks a bit fugly, but seems to do the trick. I'll stick to my HDTV for the superbowl. Go Eagles!
