Folk Straight Outta Compton

Nina Gordon (of Veruca Salt) has recorded a folk version of NWA's "Straight Outta Compton". I would have given her some credit had this not already been done before. If you'll remember, Dynamite Hack did a folk cover of NWA's "Boyz-N-The-Hood" a few years back.

I'm working on a folk cover of "She Swallowed It" myself.

Ah, that's where she's from. Adam and I were trying to figure out where we had heard the name "Nina Gordon" before. For a second we thought she was a character from Tekken, but that was Nina Williams.
