I finally got off my ass and made some sweeping changes to the site. The most obvious is the layout change. There are still some kinks to work out: I am aware that things aren't rendering correctly under IE6 for Windows. I'll fix that tomorrow (does anyone even use IE anymore?). So far everything looks good on the following browsers: Firefox 1.0 (Windows, OSX), IE 5.2 (OSX), Safari 1.2.4 (OSX).
I added thumbnails to the moblog site on the main page. I also added a "quicklinks" sidebar. You can add links to this sidebar by posting to the "disjointed - sidebar" blog after logging in. Note: the sidebar only displays the data from the entry body, subjects will be ignored.
The server this site is hosted on has also changed. The DNS propagation should be complete by now. Hopefully you will notice some performance enhancements.

The comments are butting up against the edge of the broswer, it might be easier on the eyes if you gave .blogbody a margin of 10 or 15 px. Posted by: George Hotelling at January 15, 2005 1:47 PM |
