Did Jon Stewart bring down Crossfire?

CNN has announced that they are letting Crossfire's Tucker Carlson go and are most likely taking the show off the air after 23 years. You may remember him as the host Jon Stewart called a 'dick' last fall while appearing as a guest on Crossfire. CNN chief executive Jonathan Klein had this to say:

"I guess I come down more firmly in the Jon Stewart camp," Klein told The Associated Press.

He said all of the cable networks, including CNN, have overdosed on programming devoted to arguing over issues. Klein said he wants more substantive programming that is still compelling.
