I dont think Ive ever posted anything other than news on here, but it is a group blog afterall and I have some awesome news!

Ive been working as an intern at Intel in Phoenix AZ for 6 months and I just accepted a full time job. Im going to be moving to Portland OR to join the CPU development team in the desktop products group.

So... Im going to be designing the next generation Intel processor!

Well, I mean not all by myself, but Ill be totally responsible for a small (yet to be determined) part of it.

So, if your computer doesnt work in 5 years it is probably my fault.. at least partially... ;)

And Portland seems like a really cool place. If anyone has info on it id appreciate a heads up. Also, Isaac just moved there as well, so we are going to party. You guys should come join us.

Congrats! I was just talking to Isaac today about Portland. It is always nice to have a friendly face at your final destination. Isaac's face is pretty friendly... but I digress.

Next PC I buy I'm gonna put a "Gizmo Inside" sticker on!

Yeah! That's such great news. Another OSU EE sucess story ;)

I love Portland -- my Aunt lives there and I've made it out 3 or 4 times in the past 5 or 6 years. I've lost count. I will definatley let you know when I'm out there next.

Man, I told Isaac that I wasn't willing to move to Texas to live near Phil, but that I would for sure love to live in Portland. It's looking better and better all the time. Congrats!

You should like Portland, it's almost as liberal as the town I live in. Have fun!
