ST. LOUIS - As many fast-food chains introduce healthier fare amid fears of being sued, Hardee’s is serving up a hamburger with 1,420 calories and 107 grams of fat.
St. Louis-based Hardee’s Food Systems Inc. on Monday rolled out its Monster Thickburger — two 1/3-pound slabs of Angus beef, four strips of bacon, three slices of cheese and mayonnaise on a buttered sesame seed bun.

That's awesome...glad one chain is keeping the artery-cloggers on the market. For liberals...this would something good to advocate for on the "population control" side of things. :o) In all seriousness though, has anyone ever had a thickburger? I have quite an appetite, and I can't finish one! Posted by: Dude at November 16, 2004 5:31 PM |

I don't think we have Hardee's out here, at least I can't think of where one is. If I ever happen to find one though, I'm ordering this thing. I don't think I could finish it though. I wonder how it compares to the Wendy's Triple.. Posted by: ryan at November 16, 2004 6:00 PM |

In some parts of the country, Hardee's is called "Carl's Jr." They have generally the same menu. Posted by: Dude at November 18, 2004 12:39 PM |
