PSP Video and PSP Troubles

This 2 1/2 minute video of the Playstation Portable looks very impressive. The graphics are amazing for such a small unit.

Unfortunately, due to battery problems, we may not see the PSP until Fall of 2005!

I don't travel and I don't go to school. Does anyone in that situation have a use for a portable gaming system? My cell phone games keep me entertained enough for the line at the grocery store....

Am I missing something?
