Just Da Facts

Even though Cheney got it wrong during the debate by calling it FactCheck.com, which actually takes you to George Soros' site, the real thing is quite compelling.
Check out FactCheck.org. You dems should like the fact that it seems, as far as I can tell, unpartisan. Us Neocons will like it because it dispells many liberal myths. Don't get me wrong though, it dispells myths on both sides of the aisle. Enjoy :)

I like that. They should have a panel doing fact checking during the debates. Then at the end they should go over any discrepancies they have found. Might lead to more truthful debates. Unfortunately most people will not go visit sites like this to get their facts straight. Posted by: ryan at October 7, 2004 9:23 AM |

Yeah most people probably won't. But we can, then you can go door to door like the mormons and convert the unbelievers. I think I like the Halliburton feature the best. It completely destroys democrat claims about the company and Dick Cheney. Hooray for truth. Posted by: jt at October 7, 2004 9:20 PM |

As long as we don't always trust their facts as being completely accurate just because they call themselves "factcheck". That said, they do seem to do a very good job. Anybody hear about the controversy over what was under Bush's jacket in the last debate? I think I found an article that explains it. Object Under Bush Jacket Identified: 'It's a Spine' (2004-10-11) -- A forensic scientist studying photographic evidence has identified an object which caused a bump on the back of a suit jacket worn by President George Bush during his first debate with John Forbes Kerry. "It's a spine," said the unnamed scientist. "The president's backbone, in a sense, was showing during his debate with Mr. Kerry." Similar images of Mr. Kerry showed "no comparable spinal features." When asked about the new evidence, Mr. Kerry said, "I had a spine when I defended this country as a young man, and I will have one again when I defend her as president of the United States."
