Playboy to feature the Girls of Video Games

I would have bought this, but they left Chun-Li out.
Playboy is taking a chance on silicon instead of silicone. The October issue of the men's magazine features several video game characters posing in the nude — images created by the game companies through detailed computer illustration.

"There's a funny kind of almost paternal feeling that a lot of these game creators have about their creations," he said. '"Are you going to let your little girl pose in Playboy?' is the question we were asking.

The folks behind Bloodrayne were making some noise a month or so ago about being the "first" videogame girl to make the pages of Playboy but I guess she was just going to be among the first. Playboy has had a promotional ties to Bloodrayne in the past though. I wonder, is this something American males have long been prepared for or will PB be blazing a cultural trail here. Either way, with someone like Playboy getting behind completely artificial porn (the girls they feature now aren't totally real as it is now) hopefully we will all be blessed with higher and higher quality a-porn.
