Internet Addicts

If you've ever seen a smack-head handcuffed to a bed gibbering uncontrollably because he can't get a fix, then be afraid, because that's what you'll look like after two weeks of internet-free cold turkey.

Who would submit themselves to this kind of torture willingly? Would you?

Two weeks would be pushing it. I went about a week this year while on vacation. I didn't mind so much since I was on vacation, but I did feel like I didn't know what was going on in the world. I had a lot of spam to delete after a week as well.

I certainly consider the internet to be my most important utility (besides electricity).

I feel like I could pretty much be anywhere without much of anything else of my belongings as long as I still had internet access. Is that what it's like to be addicted to opiates?
