Selling domain names on eBay

I was poking around eBay tonight when I found a time portal back to 1999. Looking at these idiots try to sell domain names for over $1,000,000 is pretty hilarious all by itself, but it gets much more funny when you cross reference this information with a WHOIS search.

Would you believe that a domain name worth $1,600,000, "One of the most powerful names ever", was registered just 2 months ago?

What amazes me the most about this $1.6M .com address is that the .net and .org are still available. If I had $9.95 to invest I could probobly make a million off of one of those.
