Republicans help Nader get on the Ballot

Michigan Republicans are helping gather signatures to place independent Ralph Nader on the presidential ballot in the battleground state, irritating Democrats who accuse the GOP of trying to pull votes away from candidate John Kerry.

Greg McNeilly of the state Republican Party said the GOP is doing nothing wrong and hopes Nader will draw votes from the Democratic candidate. Republicans will make sure Nader has more than the 30,000 valid signatures he needs by July 15 to qualify for the Michigan ballot, McNeilly said.

Seems Nader is getting money from Republicans as well.

The SF Gate is nailing Nader this week. Better believe that is politically motivated as well.

This is not surprising. I personally am campaigning for Nader in Wisconsin. In fact, I know of little known Republicans who have run for state and local offices on the Green Party ticket to take votes from the Democrat in a close race. Isn't politics fun?

Read the letter sent out to Michigan Republicans here.

Hahahaha, I love this line, "This election will be close. Michigan Democrats are going to try
every dirty trick possible."

Good thing we have the Republicans to make sure no one tries to pull any dirty tricks!

Hahaha.. we can always rely on the strong Republican moral and ethical fiber to bring us through such crises.

Actually, I'm sure you guys are not going to believe me...but I think voter fraud adds 1-3% to Democratic vote totals each cycle. The Democratic fraud machine dates back to Kennedy and Chicago (Daly's dead people voting, etc.). Not that there is never GOP vote fraud, but the Dem machine for such Is much more sophisticated. I have been involved in the election-day "ground war" the last two cycles and both times I spent the whole day trying to stop voter fraud while Dem. "operatives" tried to violate election law. ALL DAY. Sorry to break it to you...
