Gear Live has a writeup about allofmp3.com, a russian website offering mp3 downloads for a penny a megabyte. At this price you can pick up a full length album for about a dollar, and you get to choose the format you want to download the music in. I did some poking around and while the site carries most popular mainstream music, you may be hard pressed finding anything else (unless you listen to Gorky Park). Why is it so cheap? Russia has different copyright laws than the US.
