Scientists start search for Noah's Ark

The CIA calls it the "Ararat anomaly". Mountaineers call it the peak of the unforgiving range on the Turkish-Armenian border. But some scientists think it might hold a far greater historical significance as the great archaeological mirage -- the remains of Noah's ark.
No matter what your religious bias, it should be very interesting to see what they find. The "Ararat Anomaly" is well documented. I saw a Discovery Channel special on it a few months back. Any thoughts on what the anomaly might be?

I've heard about this for some time. It will be interesting to see what they find. Being the skeptic that I am, I expect to learn about a big boat shaped rock. 4,700m is really really high up. We are talking higher than the peak of Mt. Rainier in Washington. For a vessel to land that high up it sure would have to be quite a flood... a flood of biblical proportions. ; ) Posted by: ryan at May 7, 2004 6:00 PM |

Definately. Someone else requested an account today as well -- so hopefully we will see some fresh new blood around here. Posted by: ryan at May 7, 2004 9:45 PM |

Hell yeah. I love it how this is like a "living", changing thing. Robots, comedy, computers, politics of all flavors. Very interesting. I guess this is the first moblog I've been really involved in. Posted by: polamex at May 7, 2004 10:56 PM |

Wrong use of tech terms I believe. A moblog is a blog of mobile phone photographs. Posted by: ryan at May 8, 2004 10:47 AM |

Huh, I thought a moblog was of like a mob of bloggers, oh well. Posted by: polamex at May 8, 2004 1:51 PM |
