"Today, Majesco revealed a new device the company will be producing for the Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Advance SP: the GBA Messenger. According to the company, GBA Messenger lets users chat or send text messages to each other when they are within up to a 3-mile radius in rural settings and several city blocks in city settings using their Game Boy Advance. GBA Messenger broadcasts via radio signals, which means that there is no service to sign up for or additional fees to send and receive messages."
