Airport Security "Fast Pass"

Posted by ryan at 10:05 PM in transportation . | 2 Comments

The TSA is going to start a "fast pass" trial to allow registered travelers to pass through airport security quicker and without worry of secondary checks. To become registered travelers will have to go through an extensive background check and pay an annual fee. Civil liberties groups worry that those who do not subscribe to the "fast pass" system will become akin to second class travelers who must endure more scrutiny when traveling.

You know, with a last name like Skuratowicz I don't think they would approve me.

I've been "randomly selected" a few times (like I can't use the kiosks, my ticket gets a special star punched on it, etc..).

They should stamp your ticket with a big red star, comrade.
