Dollar Losing Value Against The Quarter

NEW YORK—After falling 6 percent in the past three weeks, the U.S. dollar hit a 208-year low against the U.S. quarter, which had been valued at exactly 0.25 dollars since its introduction in 1796.
Yes, it's The Onion.
But The Onion made it into the real news this week when an anti-gay parents' group handed out material presenting a 1998 article titled "'98 Homosexual-Recruitment Drive Nearing Goal" as fact. A member of the group went on to say about The Onion, "We knew it was a gay paper and we hold that even as a joke, the gay community is proud of their advancements into the safe schools program in the U.S."
