The folks over at warpipe.com have created software for Windows, OSX and Linux to link up Gamecubes to your home network + Internet for multiplayer action online. Currently they support Mario Kart: Double Dash, 1080: Avalanche and Kirby Air Ride.

I heard warpipe will regularly drop anyone with less than a 128 connection speed. Still, it's cool to see gamers taking the cube online themselves.

Linux for GC.

If yer on broadband and you can't pull 128k, I'd suggest finding a new provider.
