Finally, I can download free songs that are uncompatible with my MiniDisc player. Yay! Posted by: villageidiot at February 20, 2004 1:25 AM |

How are they uncompatible with your minidisc player? I've never bought any songs off the iTunes store, but aren't they just regular mp3s? Posted by: ryan at February 20, 2004 12:54 PM |

I think, but for some reason I can't transfer the itunes files to Sonicstage, which is the program I use. Im sure Im the one screwing up, but I can't seem to figure it out. I don't know, can I record directly from itunes? Posted by: villageidiot at February 20, 2004 1:30 PM |

What kind of minidisc player do you have? Is it the kind you can actually copy mp3s to with a USB cable? Or are you using it like a tape deck? Posted by: ryan at February 20, 2004 1:32 PM |

It uses a USB cable directly from the recorder. It works just like an mp3 player. Posted by: villageidiot at February 20, 2004 2:03 PM |

Well, you can drag and drop files from your iTunes library. Why not fire up both applications and drag a file from iTunes to the desktop. Then drag it from the desktop and into Sonicstage. Or just try cutting out the middleman and drag a track from iTunes directly over to Sonicstage and drop it in. Posted by: ryan at February 20, 2004 4:03 PM |

I used the import tool in sonicstage and it wouldn't give me the option to transfer the file. I'll give it a try. Posted by: villageidiot at February 20, 2004 8:38 PM |
