Super Sea Monkeys

I was paging through some of my old comic books the other day when I remembered how much I love the advertisements. I always wanted to buy all the little gadgets. I did order a pair of x-ray glasses once.. I was very dissapointed to find out that I couldn't see girls naked when I wore them.
I took some time and scanned a few in for all to enjoy. Most of these date back to the mid-late 70s. Note: the enlarged images in the gallery are pretty big (500k each).

Harold von Braunhut, who used comic-book advertisements to sell whimsical mail-order inventions like Amazing Sea Monkeys, tiny shrimp that pop to life when water is added, died on Nov. 28 at his home in Indian Head, Md. He was 77. Posted by: agent1073 at January 3, 2004 3:32 PM |

brine shrimp do nothing but make my testes hurt when I spread them over my genitals. I've said too much, sea monkeys are awesome. Posted by: villageidiot at January 5, 2004 12:36 AM |
