LEGO

| I've been coming across lots of LEGO-themed sites lately. Like this company called PixelBlocks which manufactures blocks that are LEGO-like, but what makes them stand out of the crowd is ... translucency. Not that there aren't translucent LEGOs. One thing they seem to be strongly pushing is converting 2D images into PixelBlock creations with their Digital Stained Glass™ Creator. |

The shear ingenuity of lego sculpture has always impressed me. The new Honda commercial rocks, building an suv with lego. Another bad ass attraction is located in the LegoLand shop at the Mall of America in Minneapolis. They have sculptures of an incredible array of objects, plus they charge a goddam arm and a leg for the tiny plastic bricks. Legos are so expensive. Posted by: jt at December 9, 2003 12:10 AM |

That Honda commercial features MegaBlocks, not Legos. Posted by: Y.T. at December 9, 2003 12:00 PM |
