although, as tomo has shown, gas masks can be cool, i have decided to see if acupuncture will help my allergies. my first appointment is tomorrow and i'm a bit nervous about it.

Very interesting. You'll have to let us know how it goes! Good luck... ... all those pins ... ; )

By the way, if your acupuncturist is wearing a cowboy hat, walk right out the door.

What are your allergy symptoms Brette? I'm wondering if yours are like mine because if this acupuncture thing works maybe I should try it. You can be my guinea pig :)

I'm curious whether acupuncture will help. I have been battling allergies using the "au naturale" method, aka "do nothing", and I am losing. I wonder if all these trees here in Treetown are nothing more than spore factories.

Different allergens cause different reactions. Here is a summary of the main ones ones:
Cedar pollen – itchy throat, runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes
Smoke (of any source) – headache, congestion, sinus pain, itchy eyes and skin
Cat dander – congestion, sinus pain, itchy eyes

The cedar pollen is so thick here that it turned my car yellow.
