man. this is probably gonna be a big debate so let me start things off. First, downloading music may be wrong, but I enjoy my FREE music. Second, I don't give a flying fuck about all the crappy 'artists' that lose money because they can only put one good song on an album. Lastly, I will continue to rip off these pieces of shit because I wannna, if the music industry thinks I will shit myself because of the lawsuits they are mistaken. Like I have said before, music was made for thousands of years with no regards to profit, why should we pay for it now? If I like an album I will buy the CD. If I only like one or two songs, I will download them.

I basically do not feel guilty at all for downloading music. It's not causing me to buy less music. Me, personally, I pretty much only buy records anyways, and I often times buy records that I have mp3s of, mp3s being the only way I would have ever heard the music. I prefer listening to mp3s as it's more convenient than queueing up records, but fuck if I'm going to encode every record I buy. I'd rather just download. But that's just one personal anecdote.

All that said, I would still like to just say.. FUCK THE RIAA.

ALSO FUCK COMCAST FOR BEING SUCH UNRELIABLE INTERNET CAUSING ME TO LOSE COMMENTS!! THEY HAVE GONE DOWN EVERY NIGHT FOR THE PAST WEEK! COMCAST IS A BUNCH OF PUNKASSBITCHES. AND SO IS THE RIAA.

I agree..FUCK THE RIAA...They have robbed consumers so much that it will take years of song stealing to punish them. Quit signing shitty artists and I'll pay for your cds.
