I think it's a good thing that this professor is trying this. Whether it will be a financially successful venture ... maybe not. There's already plenty of Asian-man starrin (straight) porn, just not American. You would find it in Asia. Is Hamamoto tapping a market or attempting to create one? There was a more recent article in the Sacremento Bee about Hamamoto. [story] The plan is to use earnings from his commercial porn movie, titled "Skin to Skin," to bankroll a new Yellow Entertainment Network -- YEN TV. BET gets two channels. TWO! Count em. So maybe we will see one for the yellaz. Anyways, I hope this guy needs some programmers/IT next time I'm looking for a job. Posted by: agent1073 at November 10, 2003 5:45 PM |

i guess that i'm more interested in having hot asian men plastered on billboards, on magazine covers, and in comericals, than in porn, but i thought this was a step in the right direction. how do you feel about the term yellow? i think it's kind of ofensive, but i'm a kike, so what do i know. Uhm.. not that I'm interested in seeing unclothed men of any race in any place! "Yellow" is a hilarious term. I think it carries a negative connotation like "black" unlike "white". I don't think it's a particularly accurate description of the skin tones of East Asians. Aren't Egyptians considered "white"? "The myth of race", etc... But yeah. It's funny to hear crackers use the term. But maybe it will be embraced in the same way as "nigga". Posted by: agent1073 at November 10, 2003 6:07 PM |

Nope, not at all. I believe that black meant "even one drop of blood" by law historically in the States. But I also believe that Arabs are considered "white". But Arabs have a significant negroid component to their gene pool compared to other caucasians. Making them by some definitions black. I read a story recently about this Black guy. He grew up Black. He grew up in a Black family. For a story he was writing he decided to have a DNA test taken to see how black he really was, not knowing what his ancestral makeup was. It turned out he was not black at all. Finding out he wasn't black by blood didn't stop him from being Black. He chose to remain Black. Then there was a segment on This American Life awhile back about a kid who was dark, but white. He grew up in a white family. His mom was white, his dad was white. His whole family had no doubt he was just a dark whitey. Except for mom because she knew that his real father was a black man who the boy later met once he grew up and confronted his mother about why.. he was black.
