Religion in the News

It seems as though the Catholic Church in Africa has joined the governments of Africa in the fight against the African people by spreading more lies designed to infeqt the public with fear of devices helpful in preventing transmission of the virus. This is OK because infant rape seems to be working pretty well in curing the disease. Africa makes for a nice rapid soul factory for the Church, rapid production followed by quick ascension to the next stage.

"Some priests have even been saying that condoms are laced with HIV/Aids."

In Moscow, gays have taken up arms against the Orthodox in covert ops. They have discovered that marrying in one of their material institutions will so defile it that it will need to be demolished. Doing so also has the added side effect of "defrocking" the priests involved.

It seems that just about anywhere you look you can find Jesus. This may something as pretty as a flower or as yummy as a tortilla or as destructive as a mushroom cloud.

Elsewhere.. in suburban Detroit, Muslim girls no longer have to play with that Jewish whore of a doll, Barbie. NoorArt of Livonia Presents: RAZANNE. Distinguishing features: flat chest.

"Christianity in Europe is now the marijuana of the marginalised: supposedly harmless, mildly confusing, but not addictive and therefore nothing to get worked up about.

"In the US, where Jesus worship takes a more muscular form, religion is a good deal more pumped up and ready for action. So let's say it's the steroid of the suburbanites.

"And what of the fundamentalist strain of Islam, the doctrine that overnight turns previously docile communities into breeding grounds of nihilistic violence and resentment? Oh, that's easy: crack cocaine.

No matter what your beliefs, are they at least internally consistent? Please take the test.

The article about the Catholic Church's position was a bit disturbing. I have no problem with the Church and its stance on contraception because I don't have to agree with it. However, the Church hiding behind disinformation to promote their stance against contraception is just wrong. This does not allow for an already paranoid culture to make intelligent decisions.

The Church needs to spend less time trying to teach Africans how to be good Catholics and more time teaching them how to stay alive. The dead can't tithe, something the Church should be able to relate to.

I took 2 direct hits and bit zero bullets, but I thought that the test was inconsistant. People that judge people for beliving in god are just as wrong as people who judge people for not beliving.

Religions aren't all good or all bad. Nothing is. They, like governments, are falible because of the people who implement them.

I don't know if I feel as if the test was inconsistent or trying to judge my beliefs. In fact, I think it did a decent job at pointing out some questions to think about.

You are right, judging one's beliefs is wrong -- but questioning and challenging one's beliefs is important. However, I have a hard time understanding people who have never questioned their faith. I feel if you have never questioned it, never tested it, then you have never truly accepted it.

Anyway, don't quite know where I was going with all this.. just sharing a couple thoughts.

Hahaha. No I didn't say I didn't believe in birth control. I said I don't have a problem with the church taking that standpoint.
