LFO Video and Stencil
Posted by tomo at 10:20 PM in art . | 1 Comments
The video for LFO's new single Freak is hot even if these young asian girls manage to mutate into little Richard D. James-ians, perhaps as a tip of the hat to Chris Cunningham from its director Daniel Levi (of independent).
Perhaps as exciting as the video is the stencil set that comes with the first 1k orders of the new album, Sheath. There's even a little competition involving the stencils...
The person judged by Mark Bell (LFO) to have used them in the "most interesting, funny and creative way.." will win: An exclusive and unreleased LFO track, packaged by Mark himself; A signed copy of the ltd edition CD, a fresh stencil set, plus all the avaialble LFO back catalogue.
Nothing illegal though, I'm sure they forgot to mention.
One more on the crack music video tip for tonight:
C404 PRESENTS: ASCII ROCK
Wait. Make that two more. Again, it uses characters to construct graphics and cheap computer generated music. It's in Japanese. I don't think it will matter.

Ok. I'm not exactly sure how this video fits in with the rest but I swear it does. There's a common thread. Somewhere. Jump. Go ahead. And jump. Posted by: agent1073 at October 7, 2003 12:10 AM |
