I am feeling kind of old

Electronic Gaming Monthly puts 9 children in front of the original video game classics (and not-so-classic): Pong, Donkey Kong, Handheld Football, Tetris, Super Mario Bros, E.T., and of course Space Invaders. [Child's Play]

At one point the kids wonder why the blocks in Tetris are not more explosive. I recently made a t-shirt where a tetris block is a missile. So maybe I am in touch with today's violent youth. Are all old video games incapable of entertaining these kids? Or did the author just try to make that impression by using the funnier, more poignant quotes.

The kids do seem to be aware of the revival of certain games onto cell phones.. like Tetris. However I was not aware of the existence or usage of terms like tetrigasm or premature tetraculation until I ran across this. I think I will continue to remain unaware of these terms for fear of accidently using them in daily conversation thus being ostracized by my peers.

Today it exists outside of the video game world on t-shirts, band names, as well as song titles.
