Megaman vs Metroid: The Game

Play the most awesomest game today (via 0xDECAFBAD). It's a cultural experience more than anything. I am seriously thinking about rewriting my megaman engine in Flash, having never seen a sidescroller done so well in it. Or am I just out of it?

Also excellent this morning is Sounds Like Techno, an interactive Flash documentary on the history of techno. (Detroiters may notice an error when Belleville, home of the Trinity, is introduced. The street's "Gratiot" not "Gatriot", which is, ofc, pronounced "Gray-shit".)

[note: I retardedly forgot to link the game earlier.]

Now suppose you can't tell the difference between techno and house, let alone all the microshades in between. Ishkur's Guide to Electronic music presents a hierarchical representation of many of the colorful subgenre classifications, complete with samples. Ofc, many of them are loose bullshit terms used by a minority of people to describe rather than classify, so don't depend on the chart to make yourself sound like you know what you're talking about..

Strangely enough (to me that is), I never got it to work until I downloaded the flash player for Mozilla. IE just wasn't having it.
