"Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at an Elingsh uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, olny taht the frist and lsat ltteres are at the rghit pcleas. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey lteter by ilstef, but the wrod as a wlohe."

While trying to track down the origin of that quote, I found that Google isn't quite as bright as we are. Here's what it thought I meant:

"Did you mean: According to research at an Elings university it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are only that the first and last letters are at the right pcleas. The rset can be a total moses and you can still read it wouthit a problem. This is because we do not read ervey letter by ilstef, but the word as a wlohe."
- Google

Now, if we were to have ran it through the AOLer Translator followed by a TXT msg xl8r:

AOCDRNIG 2 RSCHEARCH @ AN 3LNGSH UIENRVTISY IT D3OSNT MTAER n WAHT OR3DR DA LTERS n A WROD AER OLNY TAHT TEH FRIST & LSAT LT3RES R @ DA RGHIT PCLEAS!11!!1 OMG TEH RSET cn B A 2ATL MSES & U cn SITL RAED IT WOUTHIT A PORBLM!1!!!. OMG LOL TIHS iz BCUSAAA WE DO NOT RAED ARV3Y LTET3R BY ILSTEF bt TEH WROD az A O1!!!11!1 WTF LOL

What a TOTAL MOSES!

From the Google Translation: "The rset can be a total moses and you can still read it wouthit a problem."

Word Scrambler Thing
Generate scrambled (as in the original paragraph) text. When you try to scramble the scrambled text you actually end up fixing a lot of it:

"Aocirncdg to rsrhceeach at an Esnglih uriventisy, it doesn't mteatr in what odrer the lrtetes in a word are, only that the first and last lrtetes are at the rihgt pealcs. The rest can be a ttaol mess and you can stlil read it whouitt a prlebom. This is bcaesue we do not read eevry letter by iesltf, but the word as a whole."
